Redundancy Pay Calculator

Estimate statutory redundancy pay or model an enhanced employer package by removing the weekly-pay or service caps.

Model the UK statutory redundancy calculation with the weekly cap, or turn the cap off to estimate an employer-enhanced figure. Uses the last 20 full years and age bands (0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5). Figures are estimates and should be checked against your employer’s formal redundancy calculation.

Statutory vs Enhanced Redundancy Pay

Statutory redundancy pay is calculated using your age, full years of service and weekly pay, subject to the statutory weekly-pay cap and a maximum of 20 counted years.

Some employers offer enhanced redundancy pay using a higher weekly-pay figure, more generous service terms, or both. Use the options below to model the statutory calculation or switch off the weekly-pay and service caps to estimate an enhanced package.
