2. Information We Collect

a) Calculator Inputs

When you use our calculators (Qualified, Leadership, Unqualified, Lead Practitioners), the information you enter (e.g., region, pay scale, employment %, TLR) is used only to compute results on your device and show them to you.

We do not persist your calculator inputs on our servers; they are cleared when you refresh or leave the page.

b) Usage & Device Data

We may collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device/OS, pages viewed, and timestamps for security, performance, and analytics. This data is typically aggregated and not used to identify you individually.

c) Communication Data

If you contact us, we process the details you provide (e.g., name, email, message) to respond to your enquiry.

3. Lawful Bases for Processing

  • Consent – for non-essential cookies/analytics (only after you accept).
  • Legitimate Interests – to keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and measure performance in an aggregated way.
  • Contract/Pre-contract – to respond when you ask us questions or request support.
  • Legal Obligation – where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies to make the site work and, with your consent, to measure usage. You can change or withdraw consent at any time via your browser settings or the cookie banner/preferences on our site (where available).

  • Strictly Necessary – required for the site to function (cannot be switched off).
  • Analytics (optional) – help us understand site usage and improve features.

5. Analytics & Third Parties

We may use analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) to collect aggregated usage statistics. These load only after you give consent in the cookie banner. Third-party providers may process data on our behalf under appropriate contracts.

You can also use the official Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

6. Data Sharing & International Transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers (hosting, security, analytics) under contracts requiring confidentiality and appropriate safeguards. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses), as applicable.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Retention

  • Calculator Inputs: processed in-session and not persisted by us after you refresh/leave.
  • Usage/Log Data: retained only as long as necessary for security, troubleshooting, and performance (typically a short period).
  • Communications: kept only as long as needed to address your enquiry and for any legal requirements.

9. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

Subject to conditions/exemptions, you may have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (this does not affect prior lawful processing).

To exercise your rights, contact us via LinkedIn. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
